Ugh. The people of Detroit deserve better. If former general manager Matt Millen hadn't been fired earlier this year, he'd probably turn up inside the crushed hulk of a Hummer somewhere.

My advice to the Lions, going forward, is to avoid hiring any GM or coach whose last name begins with the letter M. Skeptical? Let's take a nostalgic look back at Millen, Morninweg, Mariucci, Marinelli. etc. See what I mean? So no more M is for Misery, please.
